The story behind Neren.

It started in a damp change room

at baby swim class.

Hi, I'm Danielle.

Brisbane Mum and the Founder of Neren.

Like most Australian Mums, baby swim class was a non-negotiable part of life. And like a lot of Mums, I dreaded the post-swim juggle.

The dingy, damp change rooms. Getting changed while minding a baby. Trying to remember every last thing you packed, and hoping like mad you haven't forgotten something.

I wanted a dress I could throw on over my wet swimmers and just go. Something absorbent, waterproof, and beautiful enough that I'd actually want to wear it. I searched everywhere and couldn't find one. So I decided to make it.

How Neren came to be.

After months of testing fabrics, sketching designs, and working with a pattern maker, the first sample of the Neren dress was finished. The moment I tried it on after a swim with my son, I knew it worked. The juggle was gone. The wet patches were gone. The stress was gone.

I wore that first sample everywhere. To the beach. To the splash park. To the pool. Through Queensland summers with a baby and a cavoodle in tow. And every time, I thought: other women need this.

What Neren stands for.

Quietly elegant. Genuinely functional. Made for the rhythm of real life near the water.

There are enough stressful moments in life. After swim shouldn't be one of them.
