This is a dress with a purpose, and every choice we made had to earn its place.
The combination of fabrics in the Neren Signature dress hasn't been on the market before. It took months of considered design to get the garment just right — beautiful enough to want to wear, functional enough to change the after-swim experience, and soft enough to feel like nothing else on your skin.

The dress that's up for the job
The Neren dress is a working garment. Pulled on over wet swimmers, worn straight to the car, the supermarket, the cafe. To do that job well, three things have to be right.
It has to dry you
The super soft lining absorbs water quickly from your skin and swimmers and holds it inside the fabric, whilst still keeping you comfortable.
It has to shield you
The water transfer proof outer stops water getting out, no wet car seats and no wet patches on your dress. It also shields you from the sun with UPF50+ sun protection.
It has to last
And look good while doing it. Chlorine, salt and the Australian sun, wear after wear your Neren dress performs, whilst you look effortlessly elegant.
The materials are considered and functional. Neren is designed to change your after-swim experience and to do that, we had to be different.
The Neren dress is built from two layers, each chosen for a different job.
The outer is 100% polyester with a water-transfer-proof finish. The inner is a suede microfibre blend, 88% polyester and 12% nylon, the dress is engineered to hold water rather than let it pass through.
Bonded together, they do something a single fabric can't: absorb on one side, resist on the other. It took a lot of design consideration to get the garment just right, so it could look good, be functional and perform.
We use high-quality fabrics that do the job they're tasked with whilst being super comfortable.

Neren is made for enjoying this country, so it follows that we should help look after it.
We produce in small, considered runs, which means no overproduction and less waste. Our manufacturing partner is ethically certified, with safe working conditions and fair wages for the people who make each piece. And every dress is built for a long stay in your wardrobe: lined, double stitched and seam sealed, because a garment worn for years leaves a far smaller mark than one replaced every summer.
